Short bio

Education

I graduated from CentraleSupelec with a MSc. in Computer Science, majoring in machine learning. I also spent some time at the ESCP Europe Business School in London, in the Master in Management program for an exchange semester. After 3 years working as a data scientist in the industry, I am now pursuing a PhD at Imperical College’s Personal Robotics Lab.

Work experience

I spent 3 years working as a data scientist at Wavestone, where I have had the chance to work on a wide range of ML-related topics:

  • Data leakage detection via unsupervised learning: improved the detection rate of a cybersecurity control covering 40 000 users.
  • Text classification: helped improve the HR mobility process using NLP models to analyze the employees’ requests to detect affinities for given positions / locations.
  • Adversarial Learning: built an demo app for adversarial attack (EfficientNet vs LinfPGD & L2 Carlini-Wagner, deployed in Azure).
  • Continuous Learning: designed continous improvement processes for deep learning models (e.g. drift detection, interpretability).
  • Ethical AI: worked for the European Commission on the AI4EU project.
  • Production deployment: several ML models reworked & deployed: optimisations, code quality, scaling, CICD.

Teaching & lectures

I have also given a few classes & lectures:

  • 2021-now - Electrical Engineering MSc - “Human Centered Robotics” class - Imperial College London - teaching assistant
  • 2022-now - Electrical Engineering BSc - “C++ Programming for Engineers” class - Imperial College London - teaching assistant
  • 2019-2021 - Data Science MSc - ”Machine Learning Business Case” class - Ecole Polytechnique, Paris - teaching assistant
  • 2020 - MEng, Data science major - “Introduction to AI - Business Cases” lecture - CentraleSupelec, Paris - visiting speaker
  • 2019 - MEng - ”Introduction to Applied AI” lecture - CentraleSupelec, Paris - visiting speaker
  • 2019 - Master in Management, Digital major - ”Cybersecurity and Artificial Intelligence” lecture - HEC, Paris - visiting speaker

Hobbys & extracurricular

From 2015 to 2017, I was a tutor at the “Cordées de la réussite” association, which provides support to teenagers from disadvantaged backgrounds to help them pursue higher education.

Since 2021, I am also the postgraduate student head representative for the Electrical Engineering department.

Finally, when I’m not coding, reading or thinking, I like to play piano and guitar, and practice aikido.
